This is a half day professional development information session designed to offer school leaders and teachers a brief, on the surface overview, of restorative practices. The session is designed to unpack the foundation of Restorative Practices, defining what Restorative is and what it is not. It is designed to examine the differences between traditional practices and restorative practices with an emphasis on proactive classroom actions.
THE FULL DAY FOUNDATION II WORKSHOP
This is a full day professional development session for schools or districts that have committed to implementing Restorative Practices. This session is extremely interactive and is designed to dive deeper into Restorative Practices by unpacking the proactive classroom components that include the Circle, Affective Language, The Relationship Agreement, and Emotional Intelligence Components.
1 DAY IMPLEMENTATION WORKSHOP
The one-day implementation professional development session is designed for schools that cannot dedicate two full days to implementation training but are committed to implementing the basic components of Restorative Practices in their classrooms. This highly effective and efficient format allows for mini-workshops to be conducted simultaneously by workshop facilitators.
FULL IMPLEMENTATION 2 DAY WORKSHOP
This is a full two-day professional development session for schools or districts that have committed to implementing Restorative Practices. This session is extremely interactive and is designed to dive deeper into Restorative Practices by unpacking the proactive C.A.R.E. plan as a way to build, sustain, and maintain positive relationships with students in the classroom.
The one day Administrator Training, is a highly interactive professional development session that takes school administrators through the Reactive, and Respond phases of Restorative Practices.
CIRCLE TRAINING WORKSHOP
Circle Training workshop is a one-day professional development session, that is designed to teach participants how to conduct Relationship Building, or Repair Harm Circles. Participants will experience circle, write circle, and practice facilitating circles. Participants will also learn how to use circles for teaching content.
THE CLASSROOM IN MOTION
The classroom in motion is a half-day professional development opportunity for bus driver personnel. The session is designed to challenge the mindset of any transportation personnel as we seek to encourage them to see their motor buses as extensions of the classroom.
